Coaching

The wellness coaching programs I offer are personally designed to help you meet your specific health and diet-related objectives. All of my programs are fundamentally rooted in holistic health and natural healing philosophies. I believe our bodies physiologically want to be at their optimum state of wellness. By giving our bodies the right nutrition, physical activity, adequate rest, and developing a healthy mental consciousness, our bodies will naturally work to heal our ailments, find our perfect, healthy weight, and bring us into a state of optimum wellness.

One-on-one coaching
My individual coaching programs are personalized and specifically designed to give you the knowledge, guidance, and tools you need to transform the quality of your life. Depending on your goals and your starting point, your specific program may include nutrition and dietary coaching, fitness training, cooking training, and once in a while, a firm kick in the pants to help you stay motivated, engaged, and on target. The coaching programs that I create revolve around your specific health-related goals— which always involve the process of making difficult lifestyle changes. This process is highly collaborative and only yields results if both you and I are 100% committed.  The journey you embark on may, at times, be very challenging. I will guide you, inspire you, push you, and support you through this process, but you must do the work.  Programs and coaches don’t change lives. People change lives. And you are the only person with the power to change yours.

How it works
From the outset, I work closely with you to design a program that will enable you to make sustainable, long-term changes. This is not about losing 20 pounds in time for your class reunion. If that’s all you want, go the gym and hire a trainer to yell at you for 2 weeks. My wellness coaching programs are about life transformation, not about achieving short-term goals. The approach we take together is about permanent, positive change. It is about achieving your weight or health goals naturally, changing the patterns of your life, and ultimately, it’s about giving you the knowledge, tools and power to be in complete control and enjoy your healthy journey for the rest of your life.

Each week, starting with the initial consultation, you will be given assignments and goals. You will be asked to do things that are outside your comfort zone.  You will be challenged. At the beginning of our relationship, I make a commitment to you— to provide you with the unconditional support, guidance, and information. I never quit on my clients and I ask my clients for the same level of commitment.

Coaching programs
I offer 5-week, 9-week, 13-week programs. I also offer specialized programs that span 6 months or longer for people with significant weight to lose or ongoing health concerns. My coaching philosophy is about helping you transform old, destructive habits into new, healthy, sustainable patterns. My programs are designed to help you make permanent lifestyle changes.
